Dear members,

We are excited to announce a new initiative of the European Society of Digital and Integrative Pathology (ESDIP), the ESDIP Academy.
The ESDIP Academy is a free training program from ESDIP to all its members with the aim of building skills in the digital and computational pathology domains.

This edition of the ESDIP Academy will consist of two separate courses:
1. Basics of computational pathology course (from theory to the development of your first own algorithms), with a primary audience of pathologists.
2. Basics of pathology course (basics of histology, diagnostic pathology, primers on common malignant tumors to start a project), with a primary audience of computer scientists.

All of the courses will follow a pre-recorded modality, so you can watch them anytime!

Criteria for application
These courses will be available to members of ESDIP in good standing, starting from the 26th of August 2024.

New lessons will be released every week to give all our members the opportunity to attend and process contents.
Members can access the ESDIP Academy page directly from their personal section of the ESDIP website.

Final evaluation and certificate
Participants who completed the course will receive a certificate.
Attending at least 80% of the prerecorded lessons is required to receive the final certificate.
At the end of the course, a 30 multiple-choice questionnaire will be submitted to each member to evaluate the level of knowledge attained. A minimum of 80% correct answers will be required to obtain the final certificate.
